How active seat billing works
An active seat is any team member who performs a value-generating action in a given month — creating a booking, recording a training session, issuing an invoice, or managing horses, stalls, or staff.

At the start of each month, your base platform fee is charged — this covers infrastructure, AI features, and support.

As your team uses Canterly during the month, we track who performs qualifying actions: bookings, billing, training records, horse and facility management.

At month end, we count active seats and apply your plan's per-seat rate for any seats above your included allowance.

You receive one transparent invoice showing your base fee plus active seat charges — no hidden fees, no surprises.
